This input field of the Boshka Writer plugin for your WordPress site is particularly important when you want to create search engine optimized posts. The focus keyword describes the search term in search engines, for which you want your blog post to rank as highly as possible.
We recommend that you research extensively and analyze the competition before generating your post. Use different keyword tools to get advanced statistics. The “Focus Keyword” input field is particularly interesting for long tail keywords, where there is little competition.
The focus keyword is inserted into the text multiple times. If it consists of several words, the order of the words usually remains unchanged to ensure the best possible search engine optimization. It’s also unlikely that another word will be inserted into your keyword.
You can find the option in our WordPress plugin directly under “Topic”. If you have already entered the focus keyword in the “Topic” input field, you can check the box to make the topic and keyword the same.
Exemplary focus keywords/search terms: Fertilizing lawn in May, chamomile tea for coughs, fertilizing roses with Epsom salt
